COLLABORATION WITH:
For the Cumberland Nature Trail in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, I developed a cohesive visual system that helps visitors navigate the trail while connecting them more deeply to the island’s unique natural environment. The project included a welcome sign, five mileage markers, eight interpretive information signs, and a series of nine illustrated wildlife species found along the trail. Each illustration was designed to bring the trail’s biodiversity to life, including the Amazona guildingii—Saint Vincent’s national bird and one of the island’s most iconic endemic species. Together, the signage and illustrations create an engaging trail experience that makes the landscape, wildlife, and stories of Saint Vincent easier to discover along the way.
Designed as the trail’s first point of discovery, the welcome sign introduces visitors to the Cumberland Nature Trail through illustrated wildlife, a custom trail map, and essential information. The design blends nature-inspired illustration with clear wayfinding to create an inviting introduction to the rich biodiversity of Saint Vincent.
